What is Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Law [BA LLB]?

The Bar Council of India has recognized the full-time, integrated BA LLB program, which lasts for five years. The first three semesters of BA LLB are heavily weighted toward the study of the arts, while the last five semesters include issues pertaining to law, litigation, and advocacy. Since the LLB Course is a 3-year law degree that requires any bachelor's degree to be completed before applying, it differs from the BA LLB. To be considered for admission to a BA LLB program, applicants must first pass a number of legal entrance exams after completing their class 12 board exams. Numerous BA LLB entrance tests, including as CLAT, AILET, MH CET Law, and others, are required of students at the national and state levels. Check: BA LLB Admissions.

Political science, sociology, history, and other fundamental humanities and law disciplines including family law, international law, and constitutional law are all included in the BA LLB syllabus. Two years of art coursework and three years of LLB coursework are included in the BA LLB 5 Years Syllabus. See Also: BA LLB Syllabus

Students who successfully complete a legal degree have the option of pursuing a career as a judge or a lawyer. As indicated above, there are a number of requirements and other qualifying requirements that must be met in order to pursue a job. A lawyer in India typically earns between INR 4.50 L and 9 L per year in remuneration. However, with exposure and experience, a lawyer's compensation might increase to INR 57 L - 1 Crore. In addition to BA LLB, there are three other integrated legal programs that may be finished in 5 years: BBA LLB, BSc LLB, and BCom LLB. Students can opt to pursue postgraduate and doctorate degrees in the subject of law, such as the LLM and LLD, after earning a bachelor's degree. Register yourself to get more information Click here
