AIIMS Delhi, the official body responsible for organizing the BSc nursing exam, has announced the examination dates for AIIMS BSc nursing. The application process is set to commence in February 2024 and can be completed online at the official website, bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in. The registration process is entirely managed through the online platform. Candidates are required to make online payments for the AIIMS BSc nursing application through the admission portal. The examination will be conducted by AIIMS Delhi in a computer-based mode, with test centers available in numerous cities across the country. The exam conducting body, AIIMS Delhi, will release the admit cards online, and following the exam, they will announce the AIIMS BSc nursing exam results. AIIMS BSc Nursing Eligibility 

Those who wish to register for AIIMS Nursing 2024 in order to study the BSc program must meet certain qualifying conditions, according to the examination division of AIIMS, New Delhi. The qualifying requirements for various undergraduate programs offered by AIIMS Nursing in 2024 are as follows: 

AIIMS Nursing for BSc (Hons) Eligibility 

  • Candidates must have passed their class 12 exams in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, or an equivalent exam from an accredited board. 
  • Candidates for the general category must have received an overall grade of at least 55 percent in class 12, while those for the SC/ST category must have received an overall grade of at least 50 percent. 

AIIMS Nursing for BSc (Post-Basic) Eligibility 

  • Candidates must have completed Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology, and Math in class 12 or have passed an equivalent exam from an accredited board or university. Nonetheless, those who were eligible for class 11 by 1986 or earlier may also submit an application. 
  • Applicants with a diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any school accredited by the Indian Nursing Council. 
  • It is mandatory for candidates to hold their nursing or midwifery registration with the State Nursing Council. Male nurses must complete six months of training in any of the aforementioned subjects in addition to being registered nurses.

AIIMS BSc Paramedical Eligibility 

  • Candidates must have completed Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology, and Math courses, or have passed an equivalent exam from a recognized board or university. 
  • In class 12, applicants from the General/EWS/OBC category needed to have received at least 50% of the total, while candidates from the SC/ST category need to have received 45% of the total.

The selection procedure for the AIIMS nursing 2024 BSc (post-basic) test will need to be two-staged. There are two stages: 

  • Stage 1: Written examination 
  • Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment

Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment Scheme 

The written exam's merit list candidates will be contacted to schedule a personal interview and assessment round. Thirty marks will be the approximate weighting for the second stage. In addition, the website will host the final merit list. The outcome of a candidate is determined by how well they perform in both phases. There will be nearly three times as many applicants summoned for interviews as there are seats available. The following criteria will be counted during the assessment process: 

  • Past academic record in the Higher Secondary or class 12 or equivalent examination 
  • Past academic record in the Nursing examination 
  • Performance as a Staff Nurse
