Bharati Vidyapeeth will release the BUMAT 2023 Merit List, which will include the names of the qualified candidates, based on the candidates' marks. BUMAT Eligibility 

Bharati Vidyapeeth University will establish the requirements for BUMAT eligibility. Before applying for the exam, candidates must confirm that they meet the qualifying requirements. The requirements to appear for BUMAT 2023 are listed below: 

Nationality 

  • The applicant needs to be an Indian national. 

Academic Qualification 

  • Candidates for admission to the BBA/BCA program must have passed the HSC (10+2) or an equivalent test from any Indian statutory board. For applicants in the General and OBC (NCL and Non-NCL) categories, the minimum score needed to be eligible for the test is 45%; for those in the SC/ST category, it is 40%. 
  • Candidates for BUMAT who are taking the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) are also eligible, as long as they can present the required paperwork at the time of admission to confirm their eligibility. 

Age 

  • The conducting organization has not set an age limit for taking the BUMAT exam.

  • Filling out the application form requires applicants to select one of the 57 exam cities. 
  • They have to choose the exam center code that corresponds to what is listed in the booklet. 
  • The admit card contains the name and address of the final center that has been assigned.

BUMAT Syllabus 

BUMAT tests candidates' ability to solve problems, apply knowledge, manage their time, and be task-oriented. Class 12 (10+2) knowledge or an equivalent qualifying exam is required. Below is the BUMAT syllabus for every section: 

  1. Numerical Aptitude: 60 questions
    • It will assess the candidate's aptitude for working with numbers and doing mathematical calculations. There will be inquiries concerning graphs, charts, ratios and proportions, and data interpretation. Math coursework will be at the 10th-grade level or above. 
  2. Reasoning/ Logical Aptitude: 60 questions
    • This segment will assess the candidate's capacity to interpret context and look past obstacles without becoming confused. There will be inquiries about series, absentee connections, figures, and abstract thinking. 
  3. Verbal Ability: 60 questions
    • The candidate's command of the English language will be evaluated. There will be questions about grammar, vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, expressions, phrases, and sentence completion. 
  4. Reading Comprehension: 20 questions
    • This part will evaluate the candidate's comprehension of the provided passages and their ability to respond to questions based on them.
