All About CENTAC

The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), the Government of Puducherry, administers the CENTAC state-level admissions procedure for enrollment in different engineering, pharmacy, and medical programs at various public and private institutions around the state. Shortlisted candidates are chosen based on their merit scores and acceptable admission test results. Counselling is used to validate admissions made by CENTAC. Merit scores and results of the approved entrance exam are used to determine admissions through CENTAC. It could be necessary for applicants from other states to have passed the NEET, JEE Main, or another approved admission test. According to the cut-off established by CENTAC for various universities and the corresponding courses they provide, seats are distributed.
