The second week of May 2024 is when the GPAT Exam is planned to take place. The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test, or GPAT for short, is a yearly national entrance exam. The National Testing Agency administers this exam, which makes admittance to M. Pharma programs easier (NTA). The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), associated universities, AICTE institutions, and other pertinent organizations all accept GPAT scores, making them widely recognized.

GPAT Eligibility 

Applicants must carefully review the eligibility requirements prior to submitting their exam application. Candidates who meet all GPAT Eligibility requirements can fill out the application form; key points are stated below.

 Qualifying Degree   A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy of a minimum of 4 years duration after 10+2 
 Final Year B.Pharm   Students in the final year of B.Pharm are also eligible for applying in the examination 
 Citizenship   The candidate must be a citizen of India 
 Age Limit   There is no minimum or maximum age restriction for appearing in GPAT 

GPAT Cutoff 

The NTA will release the GPAT 2024 Cut Off Score during the fourth week of April 2024, along with the exam results. In the meantime, candidates can review the 2023 GPAT qualifying Cutoff per category. Candidates can obtain an idea of the minimum score required for admission to universities that accept GPAT results by referring to the GPAT cut-off shown below.

Applicants can improve their performance on the GPAT 2024 exam by completing the previous year's question papers. To ensure they are well-prepared for the test, candidates are recommended to gather the best books and study materials. 

GPAT Exam Center 

  • The candidates' admit cards will prominently display the exam location for GPAT 2024. 
  • Over 90 GPAT exam locations are dispersed throughout India. 
  • It is required of candidates to arrive at the testing location at least half an hour before the exam begins. 
  • When completing the application form, candidates must select up to four centers of their choice. 
  • The exam center will not be changed by the organizing body once it has been assigned to applicants.
