Every year, candidates for admission to Himachal Pradesh University's and its affiliated institutions' conventional two-year B.Ed program must pass the national-level HPU B.Ed Entrance Exam.

HPU B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 

The qualifications for the Himachal Pradesh University's B.Ed. Entrance Exam are as follows. Before registering for the exam, participants must confirm that they meet the eligibility requirements. The different requirements are listed as follows: 

Nationality: To sit for the HPU B.Ed exam, candidates must be citizens of India. 

Age Requirement: There is no maximum age limit for applicants to the two-year standard B.Ed program. 

Educational Qualification 

• Either a bachelor's degree in medicine, non-medicine, commerce, or the arts, or a master's degree in social sciences, sciences, or humanities, or a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with a focus on science and mathematics with a minimum of 50% of the possible points, is required of the candidates. 
• SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates must receive at least 45% of the possible points in the qualifying exam. 
• Students who are waiting on their qualifying exam results or who are taking the exam in its last semester are also qualified as long as they present the required paperwork when they are admitted. 

HPU B.Ed Syllabus 

The HPU B.Ed Entrance Exam Syllabus is built around graduate-level content. It includes questions from degree-related topics (BA, B.Com, B.Sc., etc.). For each section, HPU made the decision. 

Questions on the HPU B.Ed Entrance Exam come from the following subjects: 

• General Awareness 
• Logical Reasoning 
• Language and Comprehension 
• Knowledge of the National Commission and Committees on Education 
• Teaching Aptitude and Attitude 

HPU B.Ed Exam Centers 

The state's HPU B.Ed. Entrance Exam will take place in several cities. People will have the option to select one city as their preferred location for the examination. 

• They must choose the appropriate city code on the application form. 
• The participants will be assigned a center by the regulatory body, and the admit card will include the location of the center. 
• There will be no changes made to the exam center after it has been assigned. 

HPU BEd Exam Pattern 

The HPU BEd Entrance Exam Exam Pattern consists of multiple-choice, objective-type questions. The entrance exam for the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, B.Ed. program will be held there. The exam schedule for the HPU BEd Entrance Exam is provided below. 

• 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) will be included. 
• There are two hours allotted to finish the exam. 
• If the response is right, you will receive one mark. 
• Incorrect responses do not result in a failing grade.
