JELET Eligibility Criteria 

All applicants must fulfill the JELET 2025 eligibility requirements given by WBJEEB before submitting an application.

  • Nationality: the applicant should be an Indian national.
  • Age Restrictions: Diploma holders in engineering, pharmacy, and technology are not age-restricted. As of December 31, 2025, the maximum age for B.Sc. applicants is 27 years old, while the maximum age for candidates for the Diploma in Marine Engineering is 25. 
  • Academic Requirements: Candidates with a diploma in engineering, pharmacy, or technology must have received 45% of the possible points at any polytechnic institution or pharmacy school accredited by the AICTE. Candidates having a B.Sc. degree must have earned their degree from an institution recognized by the UGC with a minimum GPA of 45%. Additionally, candidates must have earned a passing grade in mathematics in Class XII.
