MH CET Law 2022: MAH CET Cell has issued Admit Card for MH CET 3-year LLB Program on July 24, 2022. Candidates who had successfully registered for MH CET Law 2022 will be able to download MH CET Law 2022 Admit Card from the official website- cetcell.mahacet.org. MH CET 3-year Law 2022 Admit Card was earlier scheduled to be released on July 17, 2022. Admit Card for MH CET 5-Year LLB has been issued on July 23, 2022.

  • MH CET Law for 5 year and 3 year Law Program will be conducted on August 2, August 3-4, 2022 respectively. 
  • MH CET Law 2022 will be conducted in online mode for a duration of 2 hours.The question paper for 3 year as well as 5-year LLB will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions from five sections-  Legal Aptitude and Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge including Current Affairs, English, and Mathematics (only for 5-year LLB program). Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking.

Based on MH CET Law Cut Off, candidates will be eligible to seek admission in around 147 colleges offering 10, 920 seats for 5-year LLB program and 16, 420 seats for the 3-year LLB programs.

What is MH CET Law 2022? MH CET Law or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law is a state-level entrance exam conducted once every year by State CET Cell, Maharashtra for admissions to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs offered by 147 participating colleges across the state of Maharashtra.

MH CET Law 2022 Eligibility

MH CET Law Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria provides the nationality, domicile, educational qualification, and age limit that is required for all applying aspirants. Applicants who do not meet the criteria will not be allotted seats if they cannot provide proof of eligibility during any part of the admissions process. 

MHT CET Eligibility for 5-year Integrated Law

  • Candidates appearing in MHT CET Law for admission to 5- year integrated law program should have completed Senior Secondary School 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board with minimum 45 % aggregate marks for Open, EWS and outside Maharashtra State Candidates, 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates belonging to Maharshtra State and VJNT, SBC and OBC candidates with minimum 42 % aggregate.
  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 or obtained First Degree certificate, from Distance or Correspondence education are also eligible.
  • However, candidates who have completed 10+2 from Open University without basic Qualification will not be eligible. 

MHT CET Eligibility for 3-year Integrated Law

  • Candidates appearing in MHT CET Law for admission to 3-year Law Program should be a Graduate with minimum 45% aggregate marks for Open, All India, and EWS Candidate, 40 % aggregate marks for SC/ST category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State, 42% for VJNT, OBC and SBC candidates.
  • Applicant should have completed UG degree and 2/3 Year PG Degree.

Note: Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible and can apply for MH CET Law exam.

Applicants can apply for MH CET Law Exam online mode till June 22, 2022. The step-by-step process of filling MHT CET Law Application Form is There are three major steps to apply online for MH CET Law namely Registration, Uploading Documents, and Fee Payment. Step 1: MH CET Law Registration

  • Visit the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell
  • Click ‘Apply Online’ and choose ‘Click here for New Registration’
  • Enter your Name, Contact details, and Email-id, to get a Provisional Registration No. and Password.
  • Save application by clicking the 'Validate your details” and the 'Save & Next' buttons.

Step 2: Fill MHT CET Law Application Form

After successfully registering for MHT CET Law, 2022, candidates can login with their registered credentials and fill the application form. At the time of filling Application Form, candidates would be required to submit the following documents:

MH CET Law 5 Year LLB Exam Paper Analysis

MH CET Law 2020 Exam for 5-year LLB was successfully conducted on October 11, 2020, in online mode. Given below are some key points that came up during the paper analysis:

  • The 2-hour paper consisted of 5 sections and the total marks were 150.
  • A good attempt would ideally be 115 – 120 marks for candidates wishing to seek admission into top colleges in Maharashtra.
  • The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate.
  • GK and Current Affairs were moderate and so was Mathematics.
  • English was easy. Logical and Analytical Reasoning was moderate to difficult.
  • Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning were moderately difficult and rather lengthy.

  • MH CET Law 2022 Admit Card will be released on July 15, 2022, for the 5-year LLB course and on July 13, 2022, for the 3-year LLB course. 
  • State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released MH CET Law 2022 Admit Card on the official website.
  • Candidates can download MH CET Law Admit Card by logging in with their Roll no./ Registration no. and Password/ Date of Birth (dd/mm/yy). Applicants must make sure that they carry MH CET Law admit cards to the exam center on the day of the examination.
  • Candidates must cross-check all the details mentioned on the admit card. The details mentioned on admit card are:Name of the candidate, Roll number, Venue of the examination center, Timings of the examination, Rules to be followed on exam day

Documents Required with MH CET Law Admit Card

Candidates are supposed to carry the below-mentioned documents along with the admit card on the day of the examination:

MH CET Law 2022 Counselling

  1. MH CET Law 2022 Counselling is likely to begin in the 2nd week of June, 2022 for 5-year LLB courses and in the 1st week of August, 2022 for 3-year LLB courses.
  2. State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra holds the counselling for MH CET Law Entrance Exam through Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
  3. Through this procedure, candidates are granted admissions to various law programs offered in the state of Maharashtra.

MH CET Law 2022 Counselling: How to Register?

To participate in the counselling procedure, candidates are required to follow the listed steps:

  • Register online by entering your CET 2022 roll number on the official website.

MH CET Law 2022 Seat Allotment Process

The seat allotment process is the last and final step of the admission process. If the seats are still vacant after the third round of counselling, then a fourth round of counselling will be organized.

  • If a candidate has been allotted a seat then he/she has to download the ‘Provisional Seat Allotment Letter’.
  • Students have to draw a demand draft in favor of Competent Authority and deposit it at the admission reporting center at the time of seat acceptance.
  • After verification of documents, the center-in-charge will give the online receipt of acceptance to the candidate.
