Every year, the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery, or NEET MDS, is administered online using a computerized format to select candidates for around 6200 MDS seats, with 50% going to states and 50% going to the All India Quota. There are no other exams that are acceptable for admission to MDS courses, either at the state or institution level. NEET MDS Eligibility

 Qualification   Bachelor's Degree in Dental Surgery 
 Registration with SDC/ DCI   Provisional/permanent registration with the State Dental Council (SDC) or DCI by July 31, 2023 
 Internship   One-year Internship in a recognized Dental college 
 Eligibility Criteria for All India 50% Quota Seats 
  • Candidates who have studied/passed BDS from J&K are not eligible for 50% AIQ seats. 
  • Candidates who were nominated by the Government of India to do BDS in J&K shall be eligible to apply for admission. 

NEET MDS cut-off 

Along with the results, the qualifying NEET MDS Cut off score has been made public. A merit list will be created for candidates who score higher than the NEET MDS 2023 Cut-off, making them eligible to take part in NEET MDS counseling for admission to 50% of AIQ seats. NEET MDS Reservation Over Seats 

The Medical Counseling Committee's official website, www.mcc.nic.in, is the place for candidates to find out about reservations for DGHS counseling in institutions.

NEET MDS Exam Pattern 

The three-hour NEET MDS 2023 test consists of 240 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering subjects covered in the BDS program. As required by the standards, the exam syllabus covers every subject that was covered in the BDS course. The following table provides the NEET MDS Exam Pattern:
