RUET Registration Process:

To apply for RUET, candidates will need to pay a prescribed application fee, expected to be around INR 1000 for all applicants. RUET Exam Pattern:

RUET Eligibility Criteria:

RUET, standing for Rama University Entrance Test, outlines its eligibility criteria for RUET based on academic qualifications and minimum marks secured in the qualifying examinations. Here are the eligibility criteria for various programs:

For UG Programs:

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized State Board of Education, Central Board of Education, or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% marks.

For PG Programs:

Aspirants should possess a 3-year graduation degree from any recognized university or institute with a minimum of 50% marks.

For Ph.D. Programs:

Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in the subject for which they are applying for the Ph.D. Program from a recognized university or institute, with a minimum of 55% marks.

RUET Application Form:

  • The RUET application form is expected to be available starting from the second week of March. Candidates can obtain the application form for RUET through both online and offline modes. The application form can be purchased from any Rama University campus or applied for online via the official website. The prescribed fee for the RUET application form is INR 1000.
  • For the offline application process, applicants should buy the form from a Rama University campus, fill it according to the provided instructions, and submit an additional form for the Admit Card. They should also paste a photograph on the application form and Admit Card. The filled-up RUET Application form should be deposited directly at the Rama University campus with the prescribed fee.
  • Payment can be made through depositing in the University’s bank account or via DD in the name of Rama University. Candidates should not staple photographs on the application and admit card and leave a blank space for the roll number.
  • For the online process, applicants can follow easy steps starting with online registration on the official website of Rama University, www.ramauniversity.ac.in. The process includes registration, confirmation, filling of personal details, uploading photographs, and submitting the application form online.

RUET Admit Card:

The RUET Admit Card is expected to be released in the first week of June for UG and PG courses. Admit cards will be sent via post to applicants who applied through offline mode. Those who applied online will receive the admit card on their registered email or can download it from Rama University’s website using a unique ID number and password.

To download the admit card, candidates should follow these steps:

  • Visit RUET's official website, ramauniversity.ac.in.
  • Go to the RUET Admit Card section.
  • Log in with a registered email address, unique ID number, and password.
  • Download RUET Admit Card.
  • Save it and take a printout for future reference.

The admit card contains essential information related to the candidate and the exam, including the candidate's name, address, date of birth, name of the examination, address of the examination center, candidate’s photograph, and signature. Candidates must bring the admit card and a valid photo ID for verification purposes while attending the RUET exam.

RUET Exam Pattern:

The RUET Exam is a pen-and-paper-based test conducted offline. The duration of the exam is 2 hours for both UG and PG programs, and 3 hours for the Ph.D. program. The question paper is divided into three parts, with the first two parts being common for all applicants, and the third part being related to the specific study programs. The sections are categorized as follows:

  2. b) General Knowledge and Numerical Ability
  3. c) Subject Ability

The 2-hour duration allows 1 minute per question. The objective type multiple-choice questions are divided into three sections, with each of the first two sections containing 20 questions, and the third section consisting of 80 questions. The RUET exam has a total of 120 marks, with each question carrying 1 mark for a correct answer, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

RUET Result:

The result for the RUET entrance exam is expected to be announced in the last week of August for UG programs and in the second week of September for PG programs. Applicants can access their results on the official website of RAMA University, i.e., ramauniversity.ac.in.

RUET Results will be directly sent to the candidate's email address. To complete the admission process at RAMA University, candidates are required to download their results from the official website.

  • Go to the RUET Result section.

RUET Counselling Process:

The counselling process begins with the declaration of the RUET results. Names of the shortlisted applicants are published on RAMA University's website, along with the date and time for counselling, which is organized rank-wise. Shortlisted applicants, along with their parents or guardians, must participate in the counselling session.

During the counselling process, candidates are required to bring the following documents:

  • Class 10th Mark-sheet or equivalent examination certificate and marks sheet.
  • Class 12th Certificate or equivalent examination certificate and marks sheet.
  • Graduation Certificate and mark-sheet as per the eligibility of the program applied.
  • Character certificate from the school/college where the applicant last attended.
  • Reserved category proof/certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Income certificate as per the prescribed norms.
  • Transfer certificate issued by the school or college where the applicant passed the qualifying exam.
  • Migration certificate issued by the last attended college/institution/university.
