- 90% for general category seats in Jadavpur University. 
- any seat in Aliah University. 
- any seat including general category seats in B.Tech (Dairy Technology) in West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences 
- any reserved category seat (SC, ST, OBC- A, OBC- B, PwD, TFW) in any course in any institute.

Ques. Can I give WBJEE twice?

Candidates can take the WBJEE twice, although it is only offered once a year. A test called WBJEE 2022 was given on April 30, 2022. Candidates who want to take the exam can do so the following year.

WBJEE 2022 is conducted for admission in Undergraduate courses like Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, and Architecture. Candidates who qualify for WBJEE 2022 and satisfy the eligibility criteria for the participating colleges can be admitted to these courses.

Ques. Is WBJEE easier than JEE Mains?

WBJEE is a state-level single entrance test for entrance to undergraduate programs in participating institutions throughout the entire state of West Bengal, making it a significantly simpler test than JEE Mains. The difficulty of JEE Main is higher because it is a national exam taken for admission to undergraduate technology, engineering, and architecture programs.

Ques. What will be the type of questions in WBJEE 2022? Is it all MCQs?

Yes, only multiple-choice questions will be included in the WBJEE. There will be 4 possible responses to each question. Candidates must choose one of the proper options and use their black or blue ballpoint pen to shade the relevant circle on the OMR Sheet.

Ques. Can I still apply for WBJEE?

On December 24, 2021, WBJEEB made the application for WBJEE available. The deadline for WBJEE registration was January 16, 2022. The WBJEE 2022 admit card is now available for download from the official website. The exam is scheduled for April 30, 2022.

Ques. What is the distribution of Questions in various subjects of WBJEE 2022?

Two Papers of the WBJEE 2022 will be administered on April 30, 2022. Maths will be covered in Paper I, whereas Physics and Chemistry will be covered in Paper II. The two sciences will each have 40 problems, while Mathematics will have 75.

Ques. Will there be any negative marking in the WBJEE 2022 examination?

Yes.The total amount of questions for each topic will be split into 3 groups, with the same number of problems in each category for Physics and Chemistry, i.e. whereas English will have 30, 5, and 5 in categories 1, 2, and 3, correspondingly, Mathematics will have 50, 15, and 10 in categories 1, 2, and 3.

There are different positive as well as negative marks for the 3 different categories of questions.

Category 2 1/2 marks deducted for each incorrect response
Category 3 0 marks deducted for each incorrect response

Ques. Is maths compulsory to appear in WBJEE 2022?

WBJEE is conductedfor enrollment in undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, technology, architecture, and related courses. Candidates can choose to appear in both Paper I- Mathematics and Paper II- Physics and Chemistry or only in Paper- II.  However candidates who appear only in Paper II will be eligible only for Pharmacy courses except in Jadavpur University, where candidates can seek admission for any course.

Ques. Can I appear for WBJEE 2022 in online mode?

On April 30, 2022, WBJEE is going to be administered as a paper-and-pencil test.Paper I for Mathematics and Paper-II for Physics and Chemistry will be conducted in two 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. shifts, respectively. The WBJEE 2022 counselling process would be carried out online.

Ques. I am a Biology student. Am I eligible to appear in WBJEE?

As per the general eligibility criteria for Engineering and technology courses, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with either Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Technical Vocation Subject. Candidates aspiring to appear in WBJEE 2022 for Pharmacy courses are required to have passed Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as compulsory subjects. Thus Biology students are eligible to appear for WBJEE 2022.

Ques. Are 12th marks important for admission through WBJEE 2022?

As per the general eligibility criteria for admission through WBJEE, candidates should have passed Class 10+2 with at least 45% (40% for reserved category candidates). Candidates should also have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 30% in English.
