All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi, in the past, used to organize the entrance exam for 672 medical seats in 7 AIIMS institutes across India. However, there has been a change, and now, admission to All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi and the other 7 institutes will be done through a national-level medical exam called NEET.

For admissions to various courses at AIIMS New Delhi, entrance exams such as NEET, INI-CET, and INI-SS are conducted. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NEET 2024 Exam Date for admission to the MBBS program at AIIMS Delhi.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi also conducts the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh).
