IIT Jodhpur Scholarship Details

IIT Jodhpur extends the Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarships on an annual basis, catering to students across all categories. The selection process for the MCM Scholarship considers factors such as academic records, merits, and parental income. However, this scholarship is granted to only 25% of the students enrolled at IIT Jodhpur. The eligibility criteria for the MCM Scholarship include a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in 12th standard for first-year students in the General and OBC categories, while second-year students need a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 with no backlogs. For SC & ST category students, the criteria are 55% marks in aggregate for first-year students and no F grades in any courses for second-year students.

The means-based criterion specifies that the annual family income from all sources for all students across categories should not exceed INR 6 lakhs. The MCM Scholarship awards for General & OBC category students include a waiver of tuition fees and a monthly stipend of INR 1000. For SC & ST category students, the scholarship includes free dining (basic menu), exemption from hostel seat rent, and a pocket allowance of INR 1000 per month.
