IPGMER's hostels in Kolkata are nicely furnished and kept up so that neither the females nor the boys experience any type of discomfort. For MBBS students, there are two dormitories for girls and two for guys. For graduate students and interns, there are different hostels.

The dormitory rooms are spacious enough to house two students and are clean, nicely equipped, well-ventilated, and have balconies. There isn't any clutter on campus. Instead of the mess, there are four canteens that serve hygienic cuisine at a reasonable price.
