Admission Procedure of Jyotirmoy School of Law

You won't become a lawyer after completing the B.A.LL.B. course, but you will graduate with a law degree. Although law school does teach some core concepts, it in no way prepares you for the diversity seen in the legal profession. Only presumptive evidence of a person's suitability for the practice of law may be found in a law degree. Application Process

Step 1: The first step is to register at the link provided on www.caluniv.ac.in in order to receive a user ID and password.

Step 2: Submission of Application Forms (after getting User ID and Password)

Step 3: Pay at any SBI branch with a DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD, or SBI Challan that has been downloaded.

Eligibility Requirements

• Passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent from a board approved by the University of Calcutta in the years 2015–2017 (for general applicants), 2013–2017 (for SC/ST applicants), and 2010–2017 (for those with disabilities) alone.
• Marks attained at the 10+2 Level from a Board Accepted by the University of Calcutta: A minimum of 45% in the top four topics (Excluding Environmental Studies of WBCHSE). At least 40% marks in the top four subjects for SC/ST/PERSON WITH DISABILITY (Disability 40% or higher). (Excluding WBCHSE Environmental Studies).
• Candidates with a 10+2 diploma from a board other than WBCHSE, ISC, CBSE, or Rabindra Mukto Vidyalay must apply in writing on plain paper and submit a photocopy of their 10+2 mark sheet in order to receive a "EQUIVALENCE CERTIFICATE" from the Registrar's office at the University of Calcutta, 87/1 College Street, Kolkata-700073. A certificate will be needed when applying for admission. Getting the certificate before submitting an online application is secure.
