Duration of the Course : The course will last three (3) years.

Eligibility for Admission :

10+2 class passed from recognised board under AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, or any equivalent Board with Science (PCB) and English Core/Elective with an overall grade of 45%.
Candidates must be Indian citizens who have lived in West Bengal continuously for the past five years.
The entry age is 17 years old (as on 1st January on that year). The maximum age is 27 years old.
Candidates must attend to the institute for counselling and document verification following JENPAS allotment.
Candidates must be female in order to apply. Candidates should be in good health.

Candidates must have earned a minimum of 40% on the qualifying test in English and must have passed the 10+2 with English from any reputable board.
Candidates may also apply through the National Institute of Open School (NIOS), which is accredited by the Central Government, and the State Open School, which is approved by the State Government. Science, however, is preferred.

Outside of West Bengal, applicants are not permitted. West Bengal residents who have resided continuously over the past five years may apply. Admission requires a domicile certificate.
