The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), located in Guwahati, was founded in 2008 and is the country's first academic institution dedicated to pharmaceutical science. It has the All India Council for Technical Education's (AICTE) approval and is associated with Gauhati University in Guwahati. The institute provides a range of postgraduate courses in pharmaceutics, including pharmaceutical analysis, biotechnology, pharmacy practice, pharmacology and toxicology, and pharmaceutics. NIPER Guwahati Admission 

The online admissions process for postgraduate courses is determined by the candidate's performance on the Entrance Exam (NIPER JEE). Applicants must have graduated from high school in a field related to the course of interest. 

The results of the NIPER-JEE exam are used to determine admission to Ph.D. programs. Group discussions and personal interviews come next.

1. NIPER JEE Application Form Printout (02 Copies)  
2. Matriculation Certificate as proof of age and correct name.  
3. Mark sheets of all the semesters/years of the qualifying degree.  
4. GPAT/ GATE/ NET scorecard, wherever applicable.  
5. Admit card of NIPER JEE (online test).  
6. Original Migration Certificate (Last Attended University/ Institute)  
7. Certificate of reservation, if applicable.  
8. Reservation and Income certificate.

NIPER Guwahati Scholarships 

Students are awarded scholarships based on their performance in the NIPER JEE exam and the availability of funding.  

• A monthly stipend of Rs. 12,400 is given to all Masters students with a minimum CGPA of 6. 
• PhD candidates with M.Tech, M.S., and M.Pharm degrees are awarded a total of Rs. 25,000 per month for the first two years, and then Rs. 28,000 per month starting in the third year.
