Application Procedure for NIMAS in Kolkata

On the National Institute of Management and Administration's official website, students can apply both offline and online. Food & Beverage Production Lab: The state-of-the-art, spacious, and well-equipped Food and Beverage Production Lab enables students to gain practical experience while still in school. Students are taught about housekeeping and other associated services in the Food and Beverage Production Lab, a sizable facility with cutting-edge designs that enables students to gain practical experience while still in school.

Front Office Training Lab: The front desk is an essential part of the hotel management curriculum since it serves as the focal point for all of the important operations that take place in a hotel lobby. A front office lab using IDS Hotel Software was developed by the college and is utilised by students for training and development.

Food & Beverage Restaurant: In a beautifully constructed training restaurant with a well designed bar counter, training pantry, bakery, and separate dining hall, students can learn their lessons through practical demonstrations accompanied by knowledgeable teaching personnel.

Accommodation Lab: The Housekeeping Department's model guest room, which was created with aesthetics in mind, allows students to obtain practical experience in the various areas of hospitality administration while still in the classroom.

Classrooms: All students at NIMAS benefit from the big classrooms because they foster an environment that is conducive to learning and facilitates the expression of original ideas and points of view by all students.

Computing Facilities: By a network connection, our computer laboratories' more than 50 PCs are all connected to the centralised servers. Each of these servers has 100 MBPS Ethernet connectivity, making them all around the world reachable. The entire NIMAS Kolkata campus is connected by a network link that is extremely secure.

Housekeeping Lab: The most modern technology is available in the housekeeping laboratory, which is equipped with a dry and wet vacuum cleaner, a washing machine, a steam press, a maid's trolley, and a linen basket trolley. Students can complete their practise training in the department's model guest room, which includes a suite room, double room, and twin room. The laundry and housekeeping rooms are also part of the Department Lab.

Food Production Lab: Three enormous food production labs or kitchens are part of the NIMAS Kolkata facilities. Every kitchen is constructed so that each student in a group can complete their own chores. Together with the Larder Kitchen, the Patisserie and Confectionery Lab, the Quantity Training Kitchen, the Advanced Training Kitchen, and the Basic Training Kitchen. There is also a demonstration-ready display kitchen available. Students can observe every type of fundamental tool and equipment that is available. It has audiovisual aids built into it.

Language Lab: Communication and language skills are crucial components of hospitality industry education. The language lab at NIMAS is equipped with cutting-edge technologies. With a focus on accent, phonetics, speaking, listening, and presentation, students are taught using appropriate software that can manage aptitude testing, group discussions, and personal development.

Computer Lab: The sizable computer lab has 30 machines with internet connectivity and the necessary software.

Sports Facilities: The college includes a sizable playing area for a variety of sports, including football, cricket, and badminton. The college also provides events for indoor sports. Also, there is an annual sports day and other tournaments are performed each year to provide pupils the chance to showcase their athletic abilities in front of friends and family.

Hostel Facilities: Boys' and girls' hostels are available on the NIMAS campus.
