New Delhi: For the academic year 2023–2024, West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) has begun accepting applications for its MSc Nursing and post-basic Nursing courses. Applicants interested in applying online can do so at https://wbuhs.ac.in, which is the official website.

WBUHS offers M.Sc. Nursing courses for two years in a variety of specialties, including as Community Health Nursing, Maternal Nursing/ Obstetrics & Obstetrical Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing. Applications for the MSc and PB B.Sc Nursing degrees are accepted until February 18, 2023.

Performance on the WBUHS admission exam will determine admission to the PB B.Sc. and M.Sc. Nursing degrees in 2023.

WBUHS M.Sc. & PB B.Sc. Nursing Eligibility Criteria for 2023

Applicants can now look through the precise prerequisites for the WBUHS M.Sc. & PB B.Sc Nursing Program provided, which are stated below:

MSc Nursing :

Applicants must hold a state nursing registration council or an equivalent license as registered nurses or midwives.

A B.Sc. in nursing, a B.Sc. in nursing with honours, or a post-basic B.Sc. in nursing must be successfully completed as prerequisite degrees, and both of these degrees must have an overall grade point average of at least 55%.

  • A Basic B.Sc. in Nursing and at least one year of professional experience are required.
  • You must have at least a year of work experience after earning your Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing. 6. The candidate's health must be good. Candidates who are SC or ST may have 7.5% of their marks waived.

PB B.Sc Nursing:

  • The candidate must have passed the theory and practical portions of the 10+2 level examination from a board that has been approved by the WBJEEB, as well as successfully completed an internship (if applicable).
  • After successfully completing the GNM course, the candidates must have received registration/RNRM certification from the State Nursing Council of any Indian State.
  • As of the application deadline, the maximum age for applicants who are now working for the West Bengal State Government is 53 years old. For applicants who are not actively working for the West Bengal State Government, including ESI and Central Government employees, there is no maximum age.

Nursing Admission 2023: WBUHS M.Sc. & PB B.Sc. Process

M.Sc Nursing:

Eligible applicants must take the WBPGNAT test, which is once again administered by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, in order to apply for admission to the M.Sc. programme.

P B BSc Nursing :

Based on the score received in the West Bengal NURSING Admission Test Examination, West Bengal University of Health Sciences conducts counselling to determine admission (WBNAT).

Step 1: Go to the WBUHS website's official application page at https://wbuhs.ac.in/.

Step 2: After providing the necessary information, such as your mobile number and email address, register yourself.
